Aging Welsh Driving Cosmetic Surgery Boom

According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) there has been a 31% increase in the number of UK women having cosmetic surgery. The report indicated that this increase is being driven in part by the increasing number of women in Wales having surgery to slow the hands of time. This increase is said to be partially due to the aging Wales population and changing views about plastic surgery.

Venezuelan men getting more cosmetic surgery than ever before

In Venezuela, a place where finely sculpted women normally get all the attention, it's the men who are increasingly going under the knife.There are no reliable statistics, but anecdotal evidence in hair salons and male modeling shows abounds, and two prominent surgeons said their male business had doubled in the past three years and now make up more than 20 percent of their businesses.
While the trend began long ago in the United States, it is still a relatively new phenomenon in Latin America -- but spreading quickly. In countries such as Brazil and Colombia, plastic surgery for men has gone from being a joke to a possible Christmas gift.
